At Suparna, we specialize in producing magnesium oxide boards (MgO boards) that are utilized in various applications, including wall panels, flooring panels, and door core panels. Specifically, there are two types of door core panels:
1. Wooden Door Board
The MgO board used for wooden fire doors is identical to the standard wall board. Typically, we employ two layers of this board on both sides of the door structure.
Specifications:
- Size: 1220*2440mm
- Thickness: 5mm/6mm
- Density: 900±10% kg/m³
- Color: White
- Edge: Square
- Surface: One side smooth, the other textured

2. Metal Door Board
For metal fire doors, we use MgO foaming board. This board can be combined with the standard board mentioned above, depending on the fireproofing requirements.
Specifications:
- Size: 900*2100mm
- Thickness: 38-58mm
- Density: 240-350 kg/m³
- Color: White
- Edge: Square
- Surface: Powder texture

In the actual production of fire doors, we often use these two types of door core panels together. This approach helps in reducing costs and weight while ensuring the fireproof performance of the doors. Here are the standard combinations used by Chinese fire door manufacturers:

- 50mm Door: Two layers of 1mm metal sheet, two layers of 5mm standard board, and a core of 38mm foaming board.
- 60mm Door: Two layers of 1mm metal sheet, two layers of 10mm standard board, and a core of 38mm foaming board. Alternatively, it can be two layers of 1mm metal sheet, two layers of 5mm standard board, and a core of 48mm foaming board.
