1. Fire Resistant
Magnesium oxide board (MgO board) offers excellent fire-resistant performance. As a non-combustible material, it does not burn at 800°C and shows no visible flames at 1200°C. It meets the highest fire safety standard of Class A1. When used with high-quality metal studs to create partition systems, it can achieve a fire resistance rating of over 3 hours. During combustion, it absorbs large amounts of heat, helping to slow the temperature rise in surrounding environments.
2. Moisture Resistant
MgO board maintains stable performance in both dry and humid conditions. Even after being submerged in water for several days and dried naturally, the board does not deform or soften and remains fully functional. It does not suffer from salt efflorescence.

3. Lightweight & Earthquake-Resistant
With a density of 0.8–1.2g/cm³, MgO board significantly reduces building weight—cutting interior wall load by over 60% and increasing usable space by 5–8%. Its lightweight nature enhances structural earthquake resistance.
4. Eco-Friendly & Healthy
MgO board contains no asbestos, formaldehyde, benzene, or radioactive elements. It produces no smoke, toxic gases, or unpleasant odors when exposed to fire. Made from natural mineral powders and plant fibers, it is cured naturally during production with low energy consumption and zero emissions, making it a truly eco-friendly material.
5. Thermal Insulation & Energy Saving
Thanks to its uniform microporous structure and dense inorganic composition, MgO board has a low thermal conductivity. It offers excellent insulation performance and helps reduce energy consumption in buildings.
6. Easy Installation
MgO board is lightweight and easy to transport. It supports surface finishes and can be cut, nailed, drilled, or painted with ease. Its superior flexibility makes it resistant to cracking. It is compatible with self-tapping screws, brad nails, and gun nails, allowing for quick and efficient installation.
7. Sound Insulation
The unique uniform microporous structure gives MgO board outstanding acoustic properties. A 6mm-thick board provides a sound insulation of 29dB. A partition system with 9mm MgO board on both sides, 75mm metal studs, and 50mm rockwool achieves airborne sound insulation greater than 42dB.
8. Durability
MgO board is resistant to corrosion, acids, and alkalis. It exhibits minimal thermal expansion and contraction, has low shrinkage and swelling rates, and offers excellent aging resistance. It has passed over 50 freeze-thaw cycle tests, demonstrating long-term durability.
9. Mold & Pest Resistant
Composed of inorganic mineral powder, MgO board naturally resists mold growth and termite infestation, making it a reliable choice for long-lasting protection.
